So, in a short period of 2 days, we did all three! It all started yesterday. It was our family Fair Day with Aggie and Papa and Laura and Balmore. I took the boys and we had a blast!!! Our yearly favorites are: playing in the fountain, seeing Big Tex and the trains, eatin' corn dogs, being a farmer and caring for the farm-mostly the eggs, feeding ALL the animals, watching the dog show-the dogs jumping into the water is our favorite, eating free frozen yogurt, the log ride, and riding the police cars.
Some new additions this year that were especially fun: eating chicken-fried bacon, playing in the Texas-sized sandbox, and riding the motorcycles.
Today, we went to the Arboretum with the whole fam and Elizabeth and Charlotte. We had a great family day playing throw the water bottle (boys will make anything into a ball-Mom forgot the soccer ball)! We had a picnic, too and played with a LOT of pumpkins!
Then after napping, Mom took the boys to the duck pond and on our way stopped off at the block party. There, we saw real firemen and got a little tour of the truck! Very Exciting for the boys!!!
