MoMo and Pop Pop come to visit!

MoMo, Pop Pop and the boys at our favorite lookout spot at the bottom of our street.

One of the orangutans looked like he had dread locks. The animals were full of energy this morning! This guy was swinging around and sat on top of the wooden pole and then made his way down into his cave.

Mommy Giraffe and Baby

Big Black Bear

Baby Zebra

The lions were sitting for awhile and then a woman with a turquoise colored shirt came up to the glass and the one Momma lion attacked the glass and watched her the whole time. It was very interesting to watch this huge mammal prey on a zoo visitor. We were all very thankful for the glass.

Another breezy morning, we went for a picnic at Scenic Ridge Park. The park overlooks the whole city, is shaded and had a great area for the boys to fly their gliders and kick the ball.

What a fabulous time we had with MoMo and Pop Pop. We went on a picnic, flew our gliders, went on walks, visited the El Paso Zoo and had some really good Mexican food.

It's RAINING, It's POurInG!

Splish, Splash, We're having a blast! It's been a LONG time since we've played in the rain.

SOOOOO STRONG!

Silly boys

Supposedly it's monsoon season here in El Paso and it definitely IS! We've been shoveling and sweeping water out of our backyard in hopes that our house doesn't flood.

Love my MOMA! The girls always have lunch at The Peach Tree on Saturday and it's such a treat to have girl time sans our sweet kiddos!

Dololly and Dodaddy

After going to Dallas, we drove down to Dololly and Dodaddy's house. The boys fell asleep in the car so when we got there, they were still sleeping and it was raining. They were slow to warm up, but good ole Casper, their dog, quickly had the boys energized and ready to play! Which under normal circumstances that's great, but when you're in a 90 year old's house, that's really not the best combination. So we played, had dinner and Jackson almost tipped Dololly's chair backward with her in it and then we were close to bed time, and boy was I happy to get them into the bed. How encouraging it was to stay up and talk about all that God was doing in their lives.

Going through "Big D"

Stephanie and I had a great visit and sweet baby Lauren slept the whole time. What a great Baby!

We arrived at Char Char's house as the boys call their house and immediately went to the new play scape. In no time, they were eaten up by the mosquitoes. They had a hay day playing all together.

Charlotte, Mitchell, Matthew and Jackson

Mitchell is such a happy boy and loves his Daddy.

Matthew-Tiger, Jackson-Lion, Ava-Flounder, and Mia-Ariel

the boys trick or treating and having a BLAST!!!

Halloween in 2009 turned out to be a real scare! HA! We went trick or treating with friends, Flounder and Ariel and had a hoot! This was the first year we went out for a long walk on Halloween night with the boys. It was so cute watching them go door to door saying, "trick or treat." They had a great time with the girls and we had fun watching them.

Argh Mattie

A pirate says, "Argh Mattie."

The boys petting the rabbit-the clown trick!

Pretty cute pirate.
What fun the boys had at our neighbors birthday party. It was Cole's 3rd birthday party and the boys had fun...eating cake, watching the clown make a rabbit appear and just having fun with friends. Here's to me getting back into blogging. :)

Weekend at Momo and Pop Pop's

A trip to Research Park was in order for this BEAUTIFUL day!

Two very HAPPY boys! I think it's cause their outside by water and dirt!

Seconds later we saw this crane dip down and swallow a fish. It was crazy!

And the boys were back playing in the water, trying to fish out sticks.

The real reason we went down to Bryan Town. Angela was a beautiful bride!

We were going down for Angela's wedding and I knew there would be a trip to Research Park because it was such beautiful weather. We arrived in Bryan town, packed up some duck/turtle food and were off. Little did we know we would see a crane having a feeding frenzy. It was quite an amazing site. The boys had a grand time feeding turtles and playing in the water.

Happy Birthday to my big bro, Luke!

Happy Birthday, Luke!!! Here's to a lot of wonderful memories we made when we were growing up... Building trains for hours, playing army men at Dedom and Dodad's house, eating and stashing our candy, playing Monopoly, singing made up songs like, "Choppin' Brocallli", dreaming of being a dog and a train conductor, getting into multiple wrecks together, playing soccer, jumping on the trampoline with Filbert, mission trips together and our years at Baylor. And here's to the years to come of making memories with our families. Love you, Lui!

Lake Whitney

Jackson, Matty Bo, Jordan and Cole-standing still for about half a second so I could snap a shot. We actually bribed them with candy to get this one.

The boys!

Driving the Dig Dig!

Matthew and Cole checking it out!
This was one of the highlights of the trip! We found this little stand on the side of the road outside of town and thought, yummo! It was tasty!!!

For Labor Day this year, we headed down to Lake Whitney with our neighbors and swam, played in the rocks, and just relaxed. The boys had a great time swimming in the water that was about 20 degrees too cold for me.
