MoMo and Pop Pop come to visit!

MoMo, Pop Pop and the boys at our favorite lookout spot at the bottom of our street.

One of the orangutans looked like he had dread locks. The animals were full of energy this morning! This guy was swinging around and sat on top of the wooden pole and then made his way down into his cave.

The lions were sitting for awhile and then a woman with a turquoise colored shirt came up to the glass and the one Momma lion attacked the glass and watched her the whole time. It was very interesting to watch this huge mammal prey on a zoo visitor. We were all very thankful for the glass.

Another breezy morning, we went for a picnic at Scenic Ridge Park. The park overlooks the whole city, is shaded and had a great area for the boys to fly their gliders and kick the ball.

What a fabulous time we had with MoMo and Pop Pop. We went on a picnic, flew our gliders, went on walks, visited the El Paso Zoo and had some really good Mexican food.

Happy Birthday America!

Pop Pop and Matthew watching the fireworks

Matthew and Jackson were soooooo excited to see their MoMo!

Pop Pop and Jackson shooting off a Roman Candle! WOW!

All the great grandkids-Samuel, Luke, Jackson, Madeline, Anna, Audrey, Matthew, Caroline, Brooklyn, Owen, Bradyn, and Victoria Grace. The only one missing was Alex.

Love my MOMA! The girls always have lunch at The Peach Tree on Saturday and it's such a treat to have girl time sans our sweet kiddos!

Weekend at Momo and Pop Pop's

A trip to Research Park was in order for this BEAUTIFUL day!

Two very HAPPY boys! I think it's cause their outside by water and dirt!

Seconds later we saw this crane dip down and swallow a fish. It was crazy!

And the boys were back playing in the water, trying to fish out sticks.

The real reason we went down to Bryan Town. Angela was a beautiful bride!

We were going down for Angela's wedding and I knew there would be a trip to Research Park because it was such beautiful weather. We arrived in Bryan town, packed up some duck/turtle food and were off. Little did we know we would see a crane having a feeding frenzy. It was quite an amazing site. The boys had a grand time feeding turtles and playing in the water.

Happy Birthday to my big bro, Luke!

Happy Birthday, Luke!!! Here's to a lot of wonderful memories we made when we were growing up... Building trains for hours, playing army men at Dedom and Dodad's house, eating and stashing our candy, playing Monopoly, singing made up songs like, "Choppin' Brocallli", dreaming of being a dog and a train conductor, getting into multiple wrecks together, playing soccer, jumping on the trampoline with Filbert, mission trips together and our years at Baylor. And here's to the years to come of making memories with our families. Love you, Lui!

Lake Whitney

Jackson, Matty Bo, Jordan and Cole-standing still for about half a second so I could snap a shot. We actually bribed them with candy to get this one.

The boys!

Driving the Dig Dig!

Matthew and Cole checking it out!
This was one of the highlights of the trip! We found this little stand on the side of the road outside of town and thought, yummo! It was tasty!!!

For Labor Day this year, we headed down to Lake Whitney with our neighbors and swam, played in the rocks, and just relaxed. The boys had a great time swimming in the water that was about 20 degrees too cold for me.

NRH2O!!!

Jackson getting brave and going down backwards.

Matthew going down head first.

Walking across the lillypads. Hilarious! Jackson wouldn't stand up to walk across so Daddy helped him and Matthew cheered him on.

Mr. Frogstein's play area! Matthew LOVED this mixture of slides, water pulleys, and water toys!

Matthew sliding down the BIG slide!
Jackson sliding down the itty bitty slide

Loved being with my fam!

Jack Jack and Daddy

We'll be coming back here next year. This was such a cool place for kiddos. The boys loved Mr. Frogstein's play area and soaked up every slide in the place! They didn't want to leave and LOVED every minute of NRH2O!!! FUN TIMES!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Gibby-doooo!!!

My big bro turned 38 this year!

We went to dinner at Abacus and had some funky food! I started off with a Mojito and that cheered my spirits right up! Gib and Jeannine, Momo and Pop Pop and Jerod and I, all had a good time and ate really well. When you order a BIG plate named, Thai Chili-Lime Seared Prawns, Wagyu Beef Dumplings, Baby Broccolini, Plum-Sake Broth, and you only understand a few things on the menu other than your order, you know you better stick to what know. I really didn't know what my order was going to taste like with the plum-sake, but it was very tasty!

The boys swimming around with toys and all in the pool.

Playing time with Hot Lana

Alana and the boys feeding the duckies or quack quacks. They were quite hungry.

Matthew rolling down the hill! Very entertaining and hilarious.

Matthew, Jackson and Bradyn coming behind them, soon. They loved the slide.

There's Bradyn! With 3 boys, there's a lot of action and not usually much time spent doing the same thing.
Today, we went to hang out with my cousin, Alana and Bradyn. We went to the duck pond in her neighborhood and to the park. the boys had a hayday, feeding the ducks, rolling down the hill and playing on the slide! Thanks Lan for having us up.

A very wet trip to the DP!

It was a pretty Spring day, yet also one after a hard rain so we decided to head to the DP to find some water for the boys to play in. At first, they were alittle hesitant to step into the water; however, their "boyness" took over and note in the last picture, Matthew has no pants on because they were soaked and dripping wet. It was one of our best trips yet to the DP!

Father and Son, so sweet and so clean!

Happy Boys!!!

Just checking out the water, alittle timid, but not for long.

They were jumping around in the water and splashing non-stop! There was lots of mud-everywhere especially on their faces and their pants.

Finally home-with lots of mud and Matthew with almost no clothes on. He-he.
Good memories!!!
