My friend and patient had her baby tonight at 12:01. Let me just say, I clocked in at 11:24 and got her Labor, Delivery, Recovery room set up, she literally walked in, got on the bed, bag of waters intact and all. I got the instruments and all my stuff set up and it was time to have a baby. It was crazy how fast it all went, much like the movies, except not clean at all, and baby Lainey was here! Daddy Rob and her Doula, Delilah were there and all was great! Let me just say to all who are expecting a baby, Delilah was her doula and was ours for both the boys and is a must for a stress-free labor and delivery. Jerod insists that she's there. Just FYI, a doula is a labor coach and the midwife is the medical provider. It was such a great party on my mom's birthday and one I will never forget.
