Catching Fish at the Lake-Slimey little guys!
Our first day in Salida, we slept in (HA-HA-the boys woke up at 6:13 and were ready to go) so we tried really hard to let our friends sleep till 7. We hung out abit and then hit the park. What a great little park just a short walk down the block. The boys had a blast riding the merry-go-round and swinging. Jerod and I reminised about the merry-go-round and how they used to go SOOO fast when we were kids. They don't go that fast anymore and we were glad.
Then to the lake just outside of town for alittle fishing. The boys loved holding the fish and Matthew really wanted them to go back into the water and not get hurt. He has such a tender heart. The boys REALLY loved throwing rocks into the water which didn't really help the guys in the fishing department. Thankfully there were two lakes. It was a great day!
