Jackson in the car on the longest road trip he's ever been on! One of the activities I brought for him was a role of tape. He demolished it in about a minute.
We stopped in Amarillo for lunch and met some friends of Jerod's from college and their kiddos. The boys loved playing with Brock and Ellie. See Matthew's new toy-a great buy from the $ store.
Bryan and Jackson so happy to have finally arrived after a 14+ hour trip.
We headed out this morning at 4 am to hit the road early. I'm not sure if it really helped us or the boys, but we did get to Salida around dinner time and that was nice. We were exhausted when we arrived, but we quickly got the boys in bed and ordered some Amica's famous pizza and chilled out. The Hethlon is where we would stay for the week. It's been my grandparents house here in Salida, Colorado that my family has stayed at for years and a place where so many memories have been made. I can't wait for many more to be made this week and for the years to come.
